We are delighted to launch the AEHN’s new blog, Frontiers in African Economic History. The editorial team consists of Michiel de Haas, Kate Frederick (both Wageningen University) and Felix Meier zu Selhausen (University of Southern Denmark & University of Sussex).
The aim of this bi-monthly blog is to diffuse content and generate discussion – both within and beyond our academic network – concerning the study of long-term African development. In particular, the blog will highlight current research projects and recent AEHN events and provide reviews of newly published books and articles, interviews with key scholars in the field, and critical commentary on recent African political and socio-economic developments. AEHN board members Ewout Frankema (Wageningen University) and Morten Jerven (Norwegian University of Life Sciences) form the supervisory board on this new medium that neatly complements the diverse activities of the network.
We welcome external contributions to the blog and encourage those interested to submit a summary of a recent working or published paper or book review, a commentary on current African developments or something else. Please contact the editors to discuss possible posts at [email protected]
