Klas Rönnbäck is Professor in Economic History at the University of Gothenburg, specializing in the economic history of colonialism. His publications include “Capital and Colonialism: The Return on British Investments in Africa 1869-1969” (co-authored with Oskar Broberg, Palgrave Macmillan, 2019), and articles in a number of different journals.
